Feel great with a practice of strength, mobility, balance, and rest


This embodied mindfulness practice offers a variety of feel-good floor poses as well as active standing poses in both dynamic and static applications. Explore familiar and novel balance poses, learn the benefits of subtle breathing, and cultivate space for stillness, quiet, and deep rest.

While this class is beneficial for those with restrictions or injuries, gentle yoga is not just a second choice when active practice isn’t possible. Instead, this class suggests entirely different goals and intentions. Instead of an always-on or always-off practice, explore the beauty of something in the middle.

No previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary.

​

Join 10 minutes early to share a request for the practice and enjoy community connections in our zoom room. Our before and after class chats are a highlight!

I'm coming to Chicago and I'm excited to share a pop up Gentle Yoga practice at the studio.

​

Gentle yoga is just so sweet. Join me for a satisfying practice that embraces the in-between, balancing effort and ease, activity and rest. With brief, accessible experiences of mindfulness and breath woven into the practice of feel-good yoga poses, this class will offer you an enhanced connection to your body and to the present moment.

​

Appropriate for all levels of experience, props and modifications will be provided to make the practice work for you.

Mind-Body-Breath Connection and Awareness

Enjoy individualized instruction in this small group class

Find Your Balance and escape the everyday hustle. Join us for a 75-minute retreat to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit. It will be a luxurious journey to inner peace.

 

We will practice mind/body/breath connection and awareness through the exploration of combining conscious breathing with slow moving gentle yoga sequences. Each class will incorporate propped restorative poses and various mindfulness techniques like the use of Himalayan singing bowls to promote deep relaxation.
